Trout

The Niagara River hosts one of the most productive trout fisheries in the world.  From the incredible Lake Trout fishing off the Niagara Bar in summer, to the spectacular steelhead runs up the river from November through March, the Niagara River is hard to beat for consistent, high  quality trout action.

Colorful Steelhead

Here's happy customer Kevin Preston with 22 pounds of steelhead trout.

These incredible fish run the river from November through March, and are known for the tenacious battle they offer to any angler who hooks one.

These awesome trout are also known for the almost chameleon like changes in coloration they exhibit as they move from their deep lake summer habitat to make their spawning runs the river.

Little Laker

The Niagara River is one of the finest lake trout fisheries in the world.  During the winter, these fish offer incredible action, stacking up at the mouth of the river and hungrily taking bait drifted across the Niagara Bar.
