Ain't No Trout! Yates Haijler of Centreville, VA booked a trip for trout, but wound up with this 100 pound sturgeon caught on 8-pound test line and an #8 hook! The sturgeon measured 66 to 68 inches long with a 38-inch girth. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service office at Amherst estimated its weigh at 100 pounds and its age from 30 to 50 years old. |
